I wonder what would happen if all the sunlight was gone? I just started thinking of it now, all of a sudden!

I mean, I imagine it would be very cold. And it would be very hard to see! You'd have to squint your eyes quite a bit. And the flowers would never come out and sing, without the sunlight. It would be dreadful for that! They do so love singing.

But there's something else, I think, something I'm forgetting a bit. ...ah! Lots of fearsome things lurk about in the dark, right? Creepy, spooky creatures who flinch away from sunshine. ...Goodness, that's not a very good thought at all! Such a peculiar thing...

I know she took your memory of your cat, but did she take your memory of how cruel she was to you?

That's not.. something I'm really curious about..

The dark doesn't fit you, Alice. You shouldn't think about that.

But we'd still have moonlight, wouldn't we? It might be cold for a bit but the flowers could sing whatever they wanted still. After all, many flowers grow in such weird ways, you know! There are those that grow only in moonlight that exist in the world!

You're a very strange person who says so many strange things. I really haven't the slightest idea what you're going on about!

[identity profile] curiousher.livejournal.com 2009-08-27 09:21 pm (UTC)(link)
I think it's a very curious thing! It's something that's always there, unless it's nighttime, so what if the sun decided not to rise today? I think that would be very rude of Mr. Sun!

I couldn't very much help it, you know! It just sort of fluttered into my thoughts like a bread-and-butterfly. Thoughts do tend to come and go very much like that, don't you think so?

[identity profile] curiousher.livejournal.com 2009-08-27 09:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Really now? I've never heard of such a thing! I suppose those would do very nicely if such a thing happened. And I suppose we'd have all of the stars as well, twinkling up in the sky. It wouldn't be all bad!

[identity profile] b-loodflower.livejournal.com 2009-08-27 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)
...Yeah guess so.

Still, staying in the dark isn't fun. Depressing thoughts aren't interesting at all.

What's to worry about in the dark?

[identity profile] wants-ur-ears.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 08:38 am (UTC)(link)
What would you know about squinting one's eyes?

[identity profile] curiousher.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 03:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Not much at all! I never said I'd have to, after all. Though I suppose I could twitch my nose a bit. Can you twitch your nose? Like a little rabbit?

[identity profile] curiousher.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 03:22 pm (UTC)(link)
All sorts of creepy little things, and some creepy big things as well. Lots of things hide in the dark. ...Lots of people hide in the dark as well, I believe.

[identity profile] curiousher.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 03:29 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't think I'd ever want to stay there. The sunshine is so warm, and the flowers smile so wonderfully, and the grass is always greener on the sunny side, or however that saying goes!

[identity profile] wants-ur-ears.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 09:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Don't be ridiculous.

The dark is something I'm not afraid of.

[identity profile] itsthemooksquad.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Ehhh... But, if the sun didn't rise for whatever reason, wouldn't the same things be living there, but just not be able to see? Unless they had great night vision or something....

[identity profile] b-loodflower.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, things like that fit you better, Alice.
